Important Considerations for the Mixing Process
  • Choosing a mixer: A horizontal double-shaft mixer is recommended. It uses tumbling and convection to ensure uniform material distribution.
  • Process control: The mixing time is typically 5-15 minutes. The mixing speed is adjustable to prevent material segregation, and the mixing uniformity coefficient of variation is kept at ≤5% (according to internal corporate standards).
Selecting and Recycling Screening Equipment
  • Screening equipment: A vibrating or trommel screen is used to grade the product, removing any clumps, foreign materials, and oversized granules.
  • Waste recycling: Off-spec granules are sent to a crusher and then returned to the mixing process. The screen mesh must be designed to match the target particle size, typically 3-4mm.
